Aims and Scope

The Inorganic Biochemistry section of the journal Current Chinese Science publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews and guest-edited thematic issues on all areas of inorganic biochemistry. Articles may be largely, but not exclusively, focused on contributions from China.

This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following areas of inorganic biochemistry are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

  • • Bioinorganic chemistry
  • • Coordination chemistry
  • • Crystal structure
  • • Energy material chemistry
  • • Fluorine chemistry
  • • Functional coordination compounds
  • • Inorganic biochemistry
  • • Inorganic material chemistry
  • • Inorganic nano-materials
  • • Inorganic solid state chemistry
  • • Inorganic synthesis
  • • Isotopic chemistry
  • • Main group chemistry
  • • Medicinal inorganic chemistry
  • • Metal chemical biology
  • • Metallomics
  • • Metallurgy
  • • Metals in medicine
  • • Minerals
  • • Organometallic chemistry
  • • Rare earth elements
  • • Structural chemistry
